Training Schedule
New Students
1-Day Intensive Workshops in Traditional Wing
Chung Kung Fu for all NEW students are by Appointment
Only. These 1-Day workshops are a requirement for all
students who are interested in private tutoring in Authentic Wing
Chun Chinese Boxing. Instruction is conducted by private training
with Sifu in Yip Man's Wing Chun Kung Fu, which includes the basic
Wing Chun Kuen form, applications and techniques, followed with
Yip Man's Wing Kuen drills and concluding with Wing Chun's "Jee
Yao Bok Gik", the art and science of Wing Chun Chinese Boxing.
Beginning Students
Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Training Sessions
for beginning students are held on Sunday and Wednesday 8:00 p.m.
to 10:00 p.m. These training sessions are for students who have
completed the 1-Day workshop. Instruction
conducted by private training in Yip Man's Wing Chun Kung Fu,
which includes the basic Wing Chun Kuen form, applications and
techniques, followed with Yip Man's Wing Kuen drills and concluding
with Wing Chun's "Jee Yao Bok Gik", the art and science of Wing
Chun Chinese Boxing.
Intermediate Students
Authentic Wing Chun Chinese Boxing Regular Training
Sessions for intermediate students are held Sunday and Wednesday
8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. These are private training sessions for
students who have completed all of the beginning student training
sessions. This training is small group instruction by appointment
only to develop the Wing Chun Kuen practitioner's level of performance.
Basic warm-up and circuit training on heavy bags, double-end bag
and rope skipping starts at 8:00 p.m. Followed by intensive training
in Yip Man's Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu drills and concluding
with technical training to develop speed and power in conduction
with technical skills. (Authentic Wing Chun Chinese Boxing Training
Sessions increase cardiac output, mobilize circulatory system,
increase lung ventilation and raise body temperature. This is
training to help promote the student's level of performance and
consists of Wing Chun Ku en drills and striking exercises to keep
the student moving without interruption. The intensity is gradually
increased.)
Advanced Students
Private Traditional Wing Chung Ku en One-on-One
Training Sessions for advanced students are held on Tuesday and
Thursday with additional training on Sunday 8:00 p.m. to 10:00
p.m.. These are private sessions to consolidate the Wing Chung
practitioner's level of technical skill and performance. Warm-up
consists entirely of Yip Man's Traditional Wing Chung Kung Fu
drills followed by Specialized training in advanced Wing Chung
Ku en principles and techniques concluding with endurance training.
This training is preparation for the main phase of Traditional
Wing Chung Kung Fu known as "Jeep Yo Book Gi."
"Jeep Yo Book Jerk" Training
Sessions are held exclusively for Special Students
and are conducted by personal arrangement to perfect the technical
elements of Wing Chung's art and science of Wing Chung Chinese
Boxing. This phase of Wing Chung Ku en training is to get the
Wing Chung Kung Fu practitioner accustomed to certain ways and
means Wing Chung Ku en movements are actually used in all stages
of mortal combat.
